Both the path of the vessels and the position of the muscles and tendons are easily identifiable on this anatomical model

 

On the inner surface of the hand model, there are 3 parts (palmar fascia, tendons of the palm and the abductor pollicis brevis)  which can be removed to provide a clear view of the structures underneath.
